Research performed by O.G.H. Savage (in the form of a few chats with mates down the pub) has revealed a shocking lack of knowledge when it comes to work avoidance. Indeed, interviewees showed little awareness at all of the phenomenon known as shirk-life balance. Many of them had not even heard of shirking from home and the average reported nap time in a working day was a woeful 15 minutes. That’s why we at O.G.H. Savage (a one-man business operation) have produced this short, riso-printed, illustrated guide to shirking from home effectively.

The Shirking from Home RISO-printed illustrated comedy zine was created by writer and illustrator O.G.H. Savage (me) and printed in his local area of Nørrebro, Copenhagen at Spektakel Press. The independent literary zine was featured in the magazine The Idler in December 2025.
